Ready to make the most of your time in Barbados? This three-dive package gives you the freedom to explore our best underwater spots at your own pace. Whether you're here for a week or just a few days, spreading your dives out lets you really soak up what makes Barbados diving special - from colorful reef walls to historic wrecks that have become home to countless marine species. Our local dive team knows these waters like the back of their hand, and we'll make sure you hit the sites that match the conditions and your interests.
This package is all about flexibility and variety. Instead of cramming everything into one day, you get to choose when and where you want to dive based on weather, sea conditions, and what you're most excited to see. One day you might be drifting along a coral drop-off watching eagle rays cruise by, and the next you could be exploring a shipwreck where green moray eels have made themselves at home. Each dive starts with a proper briefing so you know exactly what to expect - current direction, max depth, entry and exit points, and what marine life we're likely to encounter. The boat rides between sites give you time to surface interval properly while enjoying the Caribbean sunshine and maybe spotting some flying fish along the way. Our dive masters keep detailed logs of conditions and marine activity, so they can recommend the best sites for each day of your package.
We've got all the standard gear you need - BCDs, regulators, wetsuits, masks, fins, and weights - all properly maintained and sized to fit comfortably. If you're traveling with your own setup, you'll get that 10% discount which adds up nicely on a three-dive package. Our boats are equipped with oxygen, first aid, and communication gear for safety, plus fresh water rinse stations and dry storage for your personal items. Most dives here run between 40-80 feet depending on the site, with water temps sitting around 78-82°F year-round, so a 3mm wetsuit does the job perfectly. We'll adjust dive plans based on your certification level and comfort zone - whether you're newly certified or have hundreds of dives under your belt. Tank fills are standard nitrox if you're certified, otherwise regular air. Each site has different entry methods - some are easy back-rolls from the boat, others might be giant stride entries, and we'll walk you through everything before you gear up.
Hawksbill turtles are the stars of Barbados diving, and you've got excellent chances of encountering them on almost every dive. These beautiful creatures are about 2-3 feet long and love to hang around the coral reefs feeding on sponges and soft corals. They're curious but gentle, often allowing divers to observe them up close as they glide effortlessly through the water. The best part? They're here year-round, though you'll see more juveniles during summer months when nesting season brings females closer to shore.
Green moray eels make their homes in the many shipwrecks and coral crevices around the island. These impressive predators can grow up to 6 feet long and have become quite comfortable around divers over the years. Don't let their intimidating appearance fool you - they're generally peaceful unless threatened. You'll often spot them poking their heads out of holes in the reef or completely stretched out in sandy channels. Early morning and late afternoon dives give you the best chances of seeing them active and hunting.
Southern stingrays are another highlight, especially around the sandy bottom areas between reef structures. These graceful giants can have wingspans of 3-4 feet and love to bury themselves in the sand during the day. When they glide across the bottom, it's like watching an underwater flying carpet. They're most active during dawn and dusk, but you can often find them resting in sandy patches throughout the day if you look carefully.
Eagle rays occasionally make appearances along the deeper walls and drop-offs, particularly during winter months when water visibility is at its peak. These spotted beauties are much larger than their stingray cousins and prefer to cruise in open water rather than stick to the bottom. Spotting one is always a highlight since they're less predictable, but when conditions are right and currents are moving, your chances go way up.
A three-dive package gives you the perfect taste of what Barbados has to offer underwater without the pressure of fitting everything into one or two dives. You can space them out over your entire stay, dive different sites based on conditions, and really get comfortable with our local marine life. The flexibility means you can work around other vacation activities, weather patterns, and even how you're feeling each day. Plus, having multiple dives with the same team means we get to know your interests and can tailor each outing to show you something new. Book this package and you'll leave Barbados with a solid understanding of why our reefs and wrecks keep divers coming back year after year.
