What is included in a daily boat diving trip with AquaPros Barbados?

All guided boat trips include professional divemaster/instructor leadership, tanks, weights, complimentary hotel transfers along the West Coast, and complete equipment valet service. Our crew handles all assembly, breakdown, rinsing, and gear transportation so you can enjoy a hassle-free day on the water.

What dive sites do you visit on the West Coast of Barbados?

We customize our daily itineraries based on sea conditions and diver preference, regularly visiting premier West Coast reef and wreck sites. Popular destinations include iconic shipwrecks like the Trident and Primaria, as well as shallow coral gardens brimming with hawksbill sea turtles, eagle rays, and vibrant marine life.

What group sizes and diver ratios can I expect on the boat?

To deliver a five-star personalized experience, we maintain strict maximum diver-to-guide ratios. Guided boat runs feature a maximum of 4 divers per guide, while entry-level beginner courses operate on a tight 2:1 student-to-instructor ratio to ensure complete safety and personal attention.

Can I complete my Open Water Diver certification or referral training in Barbados?

Yes. As an SDI Five Star Dive Center, we offer full Open Water Diver certifications, Advanced Adventure training, and specialty courses. If you have already completed your academic work and pool sessions at home, you can complete your four required open-water referral dives with our team along Platinum Beach.

What equipment and technical gas support do you provide at your facility?

Our dive shop features a state-of-the-art, solar-powered technical station equipped with three high-capacity compressors. We provide pure air, Enriched Air Nitrox, and custom technical gas blends, as well as full logistical support, sorb, and equipment setup for sidemount and rebreather (CCR) divers.

What time should we arrive for our scheduled dive or charter?

We ask all guests to arrive 20 to 30 minutes prior to the scheduled boat departure time. This buffer allows adequate time for check-in, liability paperwork completion, gear sizing, and a comprehensive safety and site briefing from Owner Malek and the crew.

Do you accommodate non-diving family members or private group charters?

Yes, non-diving guests and snorkelers are welcome to join select boat trips when space allows. We also offer fully customizable private charters tailored for families, small groups, or private celebrations along the West Coast.

What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?

We offer a flexible cancellation policy allowing full deposit refunds for cancellations made at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled departure. Cancellations made within 48 hours or no-shows are subject to a fee. You can easily request a date change online subject to vessel availability.

How far in advance should I book my Barbados dive trip?

Do you offer private charter options for custom family or group outings?

Yes, we offer fully customizable private boat charters tailored for small groups, family gatherings, or specialized diving itineraries along the west coast. Private charters give your group exclusive use of the boat, a dedicated captain and crew, and complete control over the schedule.
