AquaPros Barbados was built on a lifelong passion for ocean exploration, technical equipment innovation, and sustainable engineering. Founded by Malek Nahas, an engineer and career diving professional, the operation brings decades of global experience to the island. Malek began diving in 1989 and earned his instructor rating in 1992 in Newport Beach, California. Over the last 35 years, his career has taken him through top diving destinations worldwide—including Southern California, Canada, Croatia, Europe, and the Red Sea—where he has operated multiple successful dive businesses. While working on renewable energy projects in Barbados, Malek fell in love with the island’s pristine waters and maritime history, recognizing the perfect opportunity to establish his fourth island-based dive center centered around personalized service and technical excellence.
